days 35 & 39- deathly hallows 2 premiere/ joy ride

Where do I start? The film that marked the end of my childhood. Well, here it goes. I loved it. Of course there were a lot of things they could've done better, but I think what they did do was done very well. And that's enough of me trying to be a film critic... Here are my photos of that night.

I knew that I wanted to dress up because this was my first midnight premiere and I wanted to go all out. I decided to be Dolores Jane Umbridge because I figured I resembled her the most, with my hair and whatnot.

I made my own wand out of a piece of wood [a dowel, if you will] and some clay.

Needless to say, it turned out looking like a turd.

I went over to my neighbor Max's house for his Harry Potter Party. It was super fun!

Katie was  my partner for Harry Potter trivia. I'm pretty sure we would have won if they'd actually totalled up the scores... ;)

Wooh neighbors!

I won "best costume" so I won a real Harry Potter wand! I love it so much and I want to take it everywhere with me.

My amazing friend Laura dressed up as Professor Trelawney. I'd say she was pretty convincing!

We went to Kilwin's to pick up Robbie.

Finally at the theater! We didn't have to wait at all.

We had a death eater among us...

I ran into Kady! [& Ian and Mike] and I wrote "I must not tell lies" on their hands hehehe.

Some hard core Harry Potter fans hung some super cool signs.

I got home that night and cracked open Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and I realized that Harry Potter will never be over. He will forever live in our hearts [or as Neville pointed out in the movie, our stomachs].

Okay, so I'm being lazy and skipping days 36- 38, but they were boring anyways. It's a bit hard to follow up the last Harry Potter Premiere ever. So, day 39. My mom was at Starbucks working on our church website in the morning and people were cleaning at our house, so I had to be on doggy duty. I went for a drive. My goal was to go somewhere I'd never been before, and I definitely succeeded. I ended up all the way in Fort Pierce.

My little crooked- nosed lady <3

The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and there were lovely old- fashioned houses all along the way. [Please excuse the awful photos, I was driving...]

At last, I arrived in Fort Pierce. It was like a rundown Downtown Stuart.

Ahhh I love when Maddy does this.

Cliche converse photo for the win.

Yummm, dead fish on a bench.

Maddy was tired after a long day...
